Bangalore: Following clearance from the Union Ministry for Civil Aviation, the State government has decided to upgrade the Mandakalli airport in Mysore by acquiring 80 acres of additional land, said Minister for Infrastructure Development R. Roshan Baig here today.
Speaking to media persons, Baig also declared that the project would be executed jointly by the Central and State Governments and added that the Ministry of Surface Transport has been urged to provide the required land.
