Guwahati: Encouraged by the approach of the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Captain Gopinath said that he was going to launch his new venture in airlines very soon. Capt. Gopi was here on Wednesday to launch his air-ambulance services in association with Luan Airways, exclusively for Northeastern states.
Regretting that approach of the previous regime, which followed the policies dictated by existing airlines, was responsible for setback of the civil aviation sector of India, Capt. Gopi told reporters, “I would also like to make an appeal to the insurance companies of India to introduce some new product which can empower every Indian citizen to avail the facilities of air-ambulance for evacuation in case of medical emergency by paying a nominal annual premium.”
