Hyderabad: Tata Advanced Systems Ltd (TASL)  said here on Tuesday that it has  signed a pact with Switzerland-based Pilatus Aircraft Ltd to manufacture and supply turbine-powered business aircraft Pilatus PC-12 Green Aircraft aerostructures from its facility in Adibatla in Hyderabad.

The agreement includes assembly of complete airframes for the aircraft, including integrated fuselage, wing, cockpit, ailerons, fins, and rudders.

Pilatus is currently supplying its PC-7 MkII basic trainer aircraft to the Indian Air Force as part of its contract for 75 such aircraft.

According to Pilatus, there are 1,300 such aircraft sold worldwide and the PC-12 NG is involved in executive transport, cargo, air-ambulance, airline, and government special mission applications.
