Air Pegasus keen to start flight services from Hubli

Hubli: Air Pegasus is keen to start its operations between Hubli and Bangalore, said sources in the airport authority here.

A team of the Bangalore-based startup on Monday visited Hubli airport to assess flight safety measures. Air Pegasus is also awaiting route approval from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). "Air Pegasus will make its plan clear once it gets clearance from the DGCA," said a source.

K M Basavaraj, director, Hubli airport, confirmed that a team of Air Pegasus visited Hubli airport. "As Hubli airport is being developed as an international airport, some private airlines are showing interest to start their services from Hubli. Air Pegasus is one among them... They might start their operations here once widening of the runway is complete," he said.
