High alert at Bhopal airport

Bhopal: Bhopal's Raja Bhoj airport has also been put on a high alert along with other major airports in the country following an anonymous letter to Airports Authority of India that warned Air India flights would be targeted.

Station manager, Raja Bhoj airport Rakesh Bahri said, "We are always on toes. Still, after the alert, security has further been beefed up."

Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), police and other security agencies are keeping a constant vigil at the airport premises. Security at Bhopal airport perimeter entrance has also been tightened.
